That is not a picture of me.

I realize that this might be surprising to someone who would be hoping to hire the most adorable puppy in the world as their new employee. As this is my portfolio website, I felt there was enough about me on here already. My name is plastered on the top, all the work you have seen has been created by me, and there is even a handy link to my resume at the bottom here. So for the picture I thought, "Hey my dog is cuter than me, why not throw her up there?"

Alas, a few pieces of further information about myself is likely why you clicked this page, so here we go:

I grew up in Northern California, Ukiah to be specific. During and after high school I worked with a small local grocery chain named Oliver's Markets. They were beginning to become quite big, and with the expansion came a lot of growth within the company. I was promoted quickly to various roles until landing on the role of Assistant Corporate Graphic Designer. It was a job I truly loved but due to changes in my personal life, I needed to secure a job that paid substantially more in order to support myself. Trade school was the most logical route, so I dedicated my time to becoming a massage therapist, and relocated to sunny San Diego.

After some years working in spas and dabbling in design, I reached a managerial role and design has become a part of my daily life, and returning with it: my love for the work. I took a few classes at San Diego City college to get back on this bike and am was ready to continue my career in the world of graphic design.

That is, of course, when my fiance was offered a job in an entirely new city. We moved to Denver in 2015 and have loved it here ever sense. I moved up within the hospitality sales world while never letting my design skills rust. I've reached a crossroads and have determined that design is where I should be.

Please take a look at my portfolio and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.
